The month of March is all about celebrating powerful, impactful, admirable women. One of these women that we photographed recently has done a phenomenal job of creating an amazing wonderland filled venue and escape in central PA! The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion in Mechanicsburg, PA is owned by the wonderful Deborah Myers Welsh. Deb is the president and owner of The Willows which was built in 1891 but recently underwent a huge restoration and renovation, allowing its current state to be transformed into the beautifully, elegant mansion it is today! The Mansion opened to the public in June of 2021 and “continue to create Wonderland experiences for weddings, social and corporate events.”
I’d love to share some things I have learned about her through my experience as having her as my client!
As soon as you pull up to the mansion, you know that this is someplace special. The attention to detail in every aspect of The Willows, from the landscaping to the tile, fabrics, artwork and chandeliers are a testament to the timeless beauty and elegant style Deb brings to her business! I enjoyed learning that Deb and I share a special connection, not only did we grow up in the same area, we also both leaned into our artistic and creative outlets after careers in our respective fields (hers in the legal realm and mine in medical/healthcare). Her warm, friendly personality and nature has allowed her to create such a team that’s both professional and fun to work with. I look forward to continuing to work with this inspiring woman and her team!
